This is a premium vegetable tanned natural leather strap with use turns to a rich nutmeg/tan color. The longer  you use this strap the darker the patina. The back is smooth but not as finished as the top which is normal with (Vachetta) vegetable tanned leather products. Great replacement strap for high-end designer bags. This natural leather straps accepts all types of dyes and stains.
